About Suspension Feeder
Suspension Feeder was started in 1969 by a northwest Chicago printer. He was looking for a better way to feed envelopes into his small printing press. After many prototypes and hours upon hours of testing, his first design was finally completed.
Feeder prototypes were sold to nearby printers. News of this labor saving equipment quickly spread across the country. In the years that followed, additional feeder models were developed to keep pace with the new printing press models entering the market. The envelope feeder business gradually expanded to include delivery conveyors and other custom and specialty feeding equipment.
In February of 2008, Suspension Feeder was purchased by Roessner Holdings, Inc., a privately held Ohio company. Soon thereafter, the operation was moved to western Ohio where the fabrication, assembly and shipping of envelope feeders and conveyors continue today.
Currently, Suspension Feeder produces feeders and conveyors for over 40 models of printing, die-cutting and hot-foil stamping presses. Suspension Feeder equipment is distributed in all 50 US States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Rim. With over 70 dealers worldwide, Suspension Feeder has become a world leader in envelope feeders, conveyors and custom feeding equipment. |
